Interceptor Demo update 2020-06-16


Development has slowed due to life circumstances and the failure of my testing hardware, but I believe I am still on course for a fall release of the finalized game. In the meantime, I've released a minor update based on feedback from those who have played it I've spoken to.

Update 2020-06-16:

  • Replaced idle code native to GBDK with my own code (reduction to battery and CPU strain when the game is played on live hardware)
  • Simplified background code for level intro screens
  • Doubled background scroll rate to make the game feel a little faster paced
  • Minor tweaks to enemy spawning code
